The Guernsey Business Finder is an online directory that helps viewers to find a business or tradesperson in Guernsey.
That's Guernsey, Channel Islands; not Guernsey County, USA!
If you would like to add your business to the directory simply click on the 'Create an account' link on the right hand side of the page.
Add your information to the form, click on 'Register' then check your email for the verification link that will need to activate your account.
We ask that you verify your email to stop anyone else from using your email incorrectly.
Don't worry, we promise that your details are safe with us and will never be passed on or sold to any third party, ever.
Your email will only be used by us to contact you if there are any new features that you need to be informed of, or if there are any special offers that we feel may be of interest to you.
Once you have verified your email address you will then be able to log in and add your business details.
Each entry is valid for one year before you have to confirm your details. This is so that the directory is kept fresh and entries that are no longer valid can be removed.
A basic entry is completely FREE, and will always stay that way.
There are a few details that are optional and will incur a small charge if you wish to avail yourself of them.
These extras include having a clickable link to your website, a full description of what you can offer to your clients, and extra categories to be listed under.
The charge is small, but very cost effective as a link back to your site is a very effective way to get more attention for your site from the search engines, and an entries with a description always get more attention than one without!
Payments for any extra details will be calculated as you choose them and then you will be taken to PayPal when you finish your submission to pay for your chosen items.
We use PayPal for security as your credit card details or bank details are NEVER passed to us, just a confirmation of your payment.
When entering your details in the submission form you have a choice of categories to submit to. Select your category and then press the >>> button to move the category onto your chosen list.
Repeat for all the categories that you wish to be found under. If you enter one incorrectly simply click on the category name in the right panel to select it again and press the <<< button to move it back to the left.
If you cannot find a suitable category choose the nearest one that is suitable, complete your submission, and then use our contact form to suggest a new category. We will add the category for you and move your submission to it.
